“When a friend asked us “how come you two don’t do this?” we had to show him that we could master any paddlesport,” reported Spencer Cooke of the United States.

After months of not training, Hall and Cooke take the number 6 in the 2012 Summer Games. Hall was quoted as saying "it wasn't all that hard, we just ate a lot of Resse cups and chocolate cake for the last six months, then came here and rowed this canoe thing."
