Here it is, folks–the first teaser for our new project, Coming Home. Coming Home is a DVD compilation of short films from travels that Spencer and I have taken in recent years to go kayaking. These are stories about people who love whitewater and who find their lives enriched by exploring the rivers and oceans of the world. In the course of the DVD we journey to the North Shore of Lake Superior, the Grand Canyon, the beaches of Europe, South America, and the U.S.A, and finally we come back to our home territory to explore the beautiful and exciting gorges of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
We’re excited to be getting these stories out there and to share them with an audience. Initial response to the early edits has been very enthusiastic, and I believe that each individual story will be greatly strengthened by standing within the broader collection of the DVD. Our tentative release date is mid-May, and we’re working on an option for digital download in advance of that; so keep your eyes out for new announcements about this project and for the Asheville premiere which will be held in May.
We can’t wait to share these stories with you, and we want to give a hearty thanks to Shred Ready and Astral Buoyancy, our partners in making this film a reality. Enjoy the trailer!
