Eddy Feeling Screening in Washington NC

The Pamlico-Tar River Foundation is located in east North Carolina about 90 miles from Cape Hatteras. The organization is dedicated to protecting their local watershed. On Saturday, April 9th 8-10pm there will be a fundraiser to benefit the organization featuring our very own film, THE EDDY FEELING. DVDs of our film have been donated to the cause in addition to a number of other products from other great sponsors. If you live in the area and have time, come out to join and help the local watershed.

OBX Surf 2010 Nationals Video

I thought about calling it a highlight reel, but we really didn’t even capture all the best rides or moves. It’s more like a light reel, which makes no sense at all. Regardless, we were at the 2010 National Championships of Surf Kayaking and we shot some video. There are actually a couple pretty cool shots of good wave rides in there. Here it is.

Movie Premiere in Louisville KY

Next weekend I am heading over to Louisville KY to visit with my friends at River City Canoe & Kayak. Doug and Jessa opened their new shop just this spring and are really making a positive impression on the paddling market. While we’ll be doing some other business on my visit we’ve also planned a movie premiere of my most recent work, THE EDDY FEELING. Showtime is Friday, June 18th at 8pm. Australian Demo Day

Well the last weekend we had a fantastic Jackson Kayak Demo day that included instruction from EJ, Gary and myself. Yep, EJ came on down to Australia for the weekend. Nothing like a 20 hour flight for the weekend. Everyone seemed to have an awesome time and the day drew paddlers from all over including Melbourne Victoria, Cairns Queensland and everywhere else in between. I was stoked to be able to instruct a bunch of excited boaters throughout the weekend, a whole lot of instruction, learning and demonstrations went on. After all this we held a local throwdown in the Fryer feature as well as a boatercross event. SWEET fun indeed! Big thanks to Clive for the pics, cheers mate.
